CM, <<<(where all the huge boulders sit close to the highway)>>> ~I believe I know where that is pretty well. There is a rest area at the top of the hill, and there are signs along the road that say things like "SCRATCHING OR PAINTING THESE ROCKS IS SINFUL."

Is that the place?

I will indeed check out the museum next time.

There is, to me, something very special, odd too, like encouraging heritage, about all the famous and infamous characters, real people, who hung out in AZ/UT/NM. One of my favorite places in Utah is right near Springdale; the very very micro-spot where Butch and Sundance spent part of their winters. And you can feel why.

I picture it as I sit here, and remember being there thinking, well, if I were them, and free and rich, I'd rather be right here than anywhere else I can think of.

They were pretty smart.
