For those who think we're running out of discontinuous innovations, think again. Read the article at news.cnet.com

That article poses all the problems that will need to be solved to achieve a 20 gigaherz microprocessor in the next 8 years, which is what is expected. With all those solutions to problems, many of them will be discontinuous innovations the average carpetologist hasn't thought about.

I really have a lot of free time & I spent it catching up on this thread. I will admit to skimming some posts when they were O.T. Speaking of O.T. it might not be a bad idea to label them as O.T. when they are. IMVHO of course.
