Canadian Golden Dragon appoints director, new officers Canadian Golden Dragon Resources Ltd CGG Shares issued 11,466,593 2000-02-07 close $0.16 Monday Feb 7 2000 Mr. Elliot Strashin reports The company has appointed Stephen Simms to its board of directors, Elliot Strashin as president and chief executive officer, and Kenneth Crosby as secretary and chief financial officer. The officers and directors of the company are now comprised of the following: Mr. Strashin, president and CEO and director; Mr. Crosby, secretary, CFO and director; John Davies, director; Duane Parhman, director; Anthony Crossley, director; Wayne O'Connor, director; and Mr. Simms, director. The company has negotiated, subject to the approval of the Canadian Venture Exchange, a private placement totalling $50,000. Proceeds will be raised by the company issuing a total of 333,333 shares at 15 cents per share. Each share will have attached thereto, one share purchase warrant to purchase an additional share at 15 cents within the first year and at 18 cents per share within the second. Proceeds raised by way of this private placement will be used for exploration and development of the company's Ontario mineral properties and for general working capital purposes.
