foxey, Again, I was merely curious what attraction that an ostrich might feel for you. But the male thing I understand. As a vixen, you understand that your merest smile can light up the sky brighter than the northern lights....and inspire the same degree of awe. It's like climbing a tall mountain through fog and breaking through into sunshine at the peak....such is foxness. No doubt, that is what my southern bretheren were responding to in such a humble way. But to answer the question.... It is written into to constitution of most states below the Mason-Dixon line....Every household must own at least one pickup. If there is only one vehicle owned, it must be a pickup. Every Southerner is as law-abiding as it is possible to be....so they own pickups. A few of the more risque types will own some other type of SUV which is permissible if it is a 4-wheel drive but it is highly encouraged to have a pickup too. . . [his plumage was much prettier than mine, so I stole a few plumes]??? Ostrich plumes??? Can we (Be still my heart) expect 'fan dancing' on SI? lee
