To all, general questions,

I am long on COMS, primarily due to PALM. I cant help feeling concerned as to what happens after all those shares are distributed to COMS share holders. Will we see a sell off at that point? Do we want to hold on till we actually receive the shares and then have to be faced with all this overhead supply coming into the market? The IPO is only a fraction of what will eventually float out there. I know that is a bridge to cross at that point in time, but the thought concerns me. Will PALM be able to sustain its share price with such a greater percentage of common stock unleashed on the market? And will people hang on to COMS once they have their PALM shares? Just some questions,,,

Joey R.

Jack and others,
If I have EB's strategy right, there 's a point you're missing. With the promise of roughly 1 1/2 Palm shares for each COMS, according to yesterday's submission, this leverage will entice even the Gary's of the world to buy COMS over PALM. That is if PALM comes out of the chute like gangbusters as anticipated and the better deal is getting to PALM through COMS. Eric improves coms capitalization, albeit temporary, and buys himself time to get his wireless and VOIP strategies working. I'm not an EB fan but I'm starting to warm up. The man just might make us a ton of money. Stop and think about it. The 3-2 leverage will tie COMS favorably to Palm's price in the market place. Luck to us all, Bill
