When I first bought the Q in Sept or Oct, I knew nothing about the company.

I've been thinking this for the past month or so.Although I've taken a huge paper loss this past week, I understand the need to shake out the weak hands. A lot of stock has been sold this week but for every sale there is a buyer. My feeling is that the buyers are those who understand the story and will be long-term holders. Perhaps there are some bottom-fishers, but I'm sure the institutional buyers are there too.

An alternative way of looking at this run down is that the brokerage houses understand that the future of QCOM is huge and they need to stock up on shares. So, why not do it at a cheaper price?
