"And, this has been very painful"
I believe you remember this chain of events:
April 99 AOL hit a high of ~ 172,in Sept.99 it hits a low of ~83.A ~ 51 % loss.

In Dec 99 it hits a high of 92(184 2-1 split adjusted)for a gain of ~7%.

In summation a 51% loss was turned into a 7 % gain in the space of 7 months. My point being that all is not lost when a good stock corrects. Can Q do the same? History will provide the answer.

In fairness I should point out that AOL has retreated from its high rather severely.Having said that, the opportunity presented itself to exit unscathed.
Cheers
Ed
