How come everybody wants to advise me to stop a successful strategy, and tell me how I should deploy my portfolio? I think I'll take my own advice. With TA input from Vendit and others (P&F thread lurking) I decided to write calls at 128 and bought them back yesterday. I've made a great deal of $ writing puts on oversold conditions, buying calls during the runup, and generally deploying options on QCOM and other stocks. I never said I could predict tops and bottoms, which is why my portfolio is down from the high of when QCOM was at 200. Big deal. I don't ask for perfection. I ask for profit. I am simply telling others my strategy and some of you are having problems with it. That I don't understand. Isn't this a forum for sharing strategies and ideas? And you're right, it's NOT a good time to write covered calls now. $3 a contract is not such a small profit to make in 2 days on a significant # of shares.

Enuff said. If you don't want me to share my strategies, I won't, I'll keep it over on my and Poet's thread.
