NO I do not think so. They do not actively search new CEO.
Because, I observed that Avid must looking for someone to buy company. Softimage is big problem and will be separate, Digidesign will be independent to be public and then sell Avid.
Otherwise there is no reason why CEO position open 5 months.
Mr. Krall come from Digidesign for temporaly until sell, and back Degidesign when public.. this is best story for Avid stock holders.
Don't you agree ?

Have position traded AVID many times..usually around seasonal rises pre-NAB. The broadcast professionals I know all say it's the only real contender in the field..so this time I decided to buy in at a low...and hang in awhile.
