NEW YORK, Jan 25 (Reuters) - CIBC World Markets started coverage on shares of SpectraLink Corp. (NasdaqNM:SLNK - news) begun with a buy rating. With earnings expected next week on Feb 3, you can probably assume that CIBC thinks they will MEET or BEAT.

BCfan, thanks for the very informative series of posts. The thread needed this level of DD. A question. Some of the people I have discussed SLNK with admit for voice they are terrific but they have no data capability. The SVP technology from SLNK obviously allows both voice and data to co-exist within the same wireless LAN so I would think that mitigates this issue. Further, there may be plans for data handling via the SLNK product set. Any thoughts on these issues? Thanks in advance.
