Jim,

2-3% will do but I don't understand the frog reference.

Speaking of Eastman. In the summer of '63, I worked for them in Kingsport, TN and decided then not to go into R&D and instead decided to get an MBA. It was at Eastman that summer that I first heard there was such a degree and at Eastman where I was first to exposed to the marketing of chemicals. I thought then that they were bloated and slow moving but so was everybody else then - and many still are. Perhaps Eastman is one of them but when one of your biggest volume products is cellulose acetate (that's what cigarette filters are made of and tells you who their big customers are) perhaps their problem is lack of diversification.

The 70's? How can I forget? I only wish I had been able to take advantage of the petrochemical shortages like some people I know did. But c'est la vie.
