Ever since I first heard of the Rambus concept, I've had my doubts about serial transfer at those speeds, regardless of pin savings and the avoidance of multiline phase errors. The problems with bus length are precisely where I thought the bugaboos would arise.

Of course, my skepticism kept me from buying the stock, which could have made me some $$$.

But that's JMHO.

Dear JC; You Tech types better get this RAMBUS bullshit straightened out. I am planning on getting a new computer and I wanted to have the fastest, bestest, most powerful etc etc. Was planning on Rambus DRAM @ 400mh at least the 356mh. Now you guys are scaring me. I thought RDRAM was expensive but supposed to be the best??? Let me know before I waste my money. JDN
