Barry, good article on technology deserving credit for holding inflation in check. My old favorite <g>, at least he saw the light on this one: ``Technology-led growth is inherently disinflationary,' said Edward Yardeni, chief economist for Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown. ``High-tech prices are always falling. The Internet has become the killer application and it is killing inflation.' Funny how, when they talk nowadays about tech helping productivity, they jump right to the Internet, as if the PC never existed! Tony
