I got sick of being shocked. The humidifier isn't keeping up and the house is drier than a popcorn fart. Static electricity builds with every step. Now I carry a key. Every light switch I go by, I touch the key to a screw in the plate and watch the spark. Hee hee, no more shocks. Good God Almighty how the little victories in life can be so uplifting.

But the part that pisses me off, is that the Dream Board sticks you in these dreams, where you don't know who any of these people are; sticks you on the police force like a temp; and gets you killed, because you don't know what's going on or who these people are or where your gun is.

That's the part that I don't like about most of my "flying dreams"... I'm usually acosted by thugs with revolvers who are trying to shoot me down for some reason which I can't fathom. But I'm usually a man in these dreams, and I seem to be some type of soldier or spy, so I suppose I've done something suitably obnoxious to deserve being pursued and shot at....

But you're right... Who doles these dreams out? Who decides what kind of a dream you're going to have.... If it's a bad day around the Dream Board, do we all get crummy, annoying or frustrating dreams? If they've had a particularly good weekend, do they decide to go easy on us and give us pleasant dreams...

Or does it all boil down to remembering not to eat an apple right before crashing for the night???

Hmmmm...

I don't really know how it all works... Guess it's just one of life's not-so-little mysteries...
