Robert,

If you want to create the symbol file by saving symbols you already have in a quote list, just right click on top of the quote list and choose "Export" followed by "Symbols".

If you want to create a file completely externally from QCharts, just open up an editor such as Windows Notepad and start typing them in, one per line, i.e.

MSFT
AOL
AMZN
SP00H

etc.
