18 Million+ Hits Drive Kanakaris to Biggest Month Ever for Online Movie Site; KKRS Grows From Its 1995 Premiere of First Movie Delivery on the Internet To Audience in 106 Countries on Six Continents

COSTA MESA, Calif., Feb 3, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Kanakaris
Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: KKRS), a reporting company, announced
that statistics for January 2000 reflect the largest audience month ever for the
entertainment web hub KKRS.Net. This is a landmark achievement for Kanakaris,
the company that introduced the first Internet delivery of a motion picture in
1995.

"With the successful demonstration of pay-per-view Internet movie business
models at the NATPE 2000 TV convention, our powerful alliances for advertising,
subscription and pay-per-view delivery, and our record breaking January 2000
audience size, Kanakaris continues to lead the pack as a virtual theater on the
Internet," said CEO Alex Kanakaris. "We are projecting the receipt of immediate
Internet revenue to supplement the sales of our Internet/intranet command center
division, Desience, as a result of our new status as one of the world's most
popular web sites," he added.

18,402,781 hits were logged on the Kanakaris web sites, a 37% increase over
December and the largest number ever recorded in a month in the history of the
Company. 1,813,076 page views were logged, another first for Kanakaris. Total
time spent on all sessions in January in seconds was 123,664,415 and there were
over 340,000 sessions served.

Over 87% of the traffic generated to the site was from referrals of Microsoft
related web sites (microsoft.com, msn.com, and windowsmedia.com), according to
the web stats obtained from the server. Kanakaris uses Microsoft Windows Media
Technology to provide 56k to Broadband delivery of movies, scaleable to the full
size of the viewer's monitor. Kanakaris is a Microsoft Internet Content Partner
and a member of the Microsoft Windows Media Broadband Jumpstart Initiative.

The leading search engine for referrals was Yahoo!, accounting for almost 80% of
search engine referrals.

Bandwidth utilized by Kanakaris on LMKI servers amounted to 3,234,202 kilobytes.
Additional bandwidth was utilized through InterVU for broadband delivery. Almost
39% of viewers used the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher browser.
14.51% used AOL 5.0 browsers, 12.93% used Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0,
10.81% used Netscape Navigator 4.0, 9.64% used Netscape Navigator 3.0, and 7.02%
used AOL 4.0. Other browsers utilized included MSProxy 2.0, WebTV 1.0, and
Microsoft Internet Expolorer 3.0.

The majority of viewers used the Windows 98 operating system, with Windows 95
running second. Other operating systems used included Windows NT, and a small
percentage of Macintosh PPC, LINUX, SUN OS, and OS/2.

While the largest amount of traffic was from the United States, visitors to the
Kanakaris web sites came from 106 countries on six continents.
