El-- they (as are most) much more positive than I am on cpq.They are looking for 1.15 while IMO cpq will be hard pressed to make the 1.06 they are looking for. I hope everyone else is correct as my guess would put them slightly under 0.90. They also have much more faith in MC than I but other than those 2 items I think the article is pretty much on the money,,, some cost reductions will still be easy--others more difficult. Growing margin is tough except by growing high margin profit areas,,, hopefully there will be lots of growth in these service type areas... now DELL can be out of their sights and they can concentrate on doing what IBM does,,, only better,,, BUT I will hold onto my IBM shares,, LOL!
