Your comment re: Qualcomms request for TV spectrum; The problem with the spectrum is that since TV channels presumably use the spectrum and there are likely to be more delays in high definition digital TV it may not become available for some time.

Do you know the data requirements (transmission) for TV? HDR handles 64K in a channel. As I recall there are 6 (ish) channels available in a CDMA frequency environment. Would it be possible to compile enough channels to handle a video signal? Plop that into a mobile environment and get TV on the go. Add in some Qualcomm digital cinema....

Just wondering on the edges.

On a more On-Topic note, if Qualcomm gets the FCC to award the request, it might be enough to get Bell South on the dance floor. BellSouth has been late to the prom. They are currently without a partner. Even after asking a couple to dance, Bell South is still a wallflower. It would be quite the achievement to get a dance with the wireless world's homecoming Queen - Qualcomm.
