Tony - <PB, author thinks Sun giving away Solaris could entice more systems manufacturers to use Solaris 8 for Intel Corp. on PC servers.> You know, the Sun / Intel competitive situation is very complex. The giveaway Solaris thing is interesting, to say the least. Intuitively, it certainly seems that this should not hurt (should help?) Intel sales, as the article suggests. Very interesting. "SUNTEL"?
