Chisy, Barrons' "Charting the Markets" page just shows tiny one-year (price, volume, moving average) charts, with inset one-week price charts, for stocks that made price moves of interest over the last week. Included is a one liner for each stock, with the Valence comment stating that the 'battery maker's share price perked up after one brokerage concern initiated coverage with a "strong buy" rating.'

Lurking around some of the TA sites and threads, it's quite a mixed bag, they are of different minds as to what to make of the ongoing Valence price move. As others have noted, though, when TA (technical analysis) and FA (fundamental analysis) diverge, follow FA.

Looking to see what these buyers are all excited about. Seems to me there's more to come, just observing that aspect.

Add in the company's desire to complete more deals before the Annual meeting, and you've got the makings of a major price move when things fall in place. Conversely, still don't think there'd be much retracement even if not all the news potentially in the queue got out before the meeting... the FA indicates there is news coming, and longs who've performed their DD are waiting to see the response of the market to that. I know that I am. Haven't sold a share.
