dslreports.com says that I live 13057 feet away from the central office. However, I don't really trust this as when I ask it to show me on the map where the CO is it shows an area of town built three or four years after my house (it was an orange grove when I moved in). What it may be showing me is the closest one. I do know that Useless Worst tells me that my line does not "qualify" for DSL but that these guys say it does. I guess I'll have to give them a call and see what they have to say.

In this area, they'll turn you down if you're outside. If someone begs and grovels, though, I don't know what they do.
