laura, i believe profile manager will appear as long as you have more than one profile. that is to say, one + guest. if you don't need the other (my telus account), deleting it might stop the manager from showing up each time.

several ways we could test this... i could create another profile and see if i'm then prompted like you are now. or someone else using netscape could chime in <g3>. or you could lose the extra profile. you can also go to netscape newsgroups to see if there are posts there on your subject.

we'll get it figured out one way or another.

i went to netscape newsgroups and poked around. from what i could find, it looks like as soon as you have more than one profile, you're going to get the manager on start up asking what you want to do. that only makes sense if you think about it. i don't think it's going to be any different unless, like i say, you delete the extra profile.
