Have been doing some lots of fodder from friday research on gap downs on my farm.....and boy the results are good for high probability so far. I was just looking at MSTR...gap down l4....filled gap to top (even with close of day before--that is theory)....what a money maker! and then moved farther up. So far they really love this beast. Saw them on 60 min.....and thought...wow this is a good business....it cranked the next am....and hasn't looked back now just splitting....bet this is a double or so this year too.....unless something big and bad happens... am forming some ideas here on simplicity I am enjoying this weekend and doing loathsome SPREADSHEETS!! (for three accounts filled some months with crazy too much trading!) ugh!! if I had anything to really say to people it would be keep them up during the year cause if you don't you have some hell to pay this time of year....ugh.... Also I have kept a daily trade journal now for over a month. It is something I have wanted to do but could only put a couple/few days back to back on it here and there during the 4 years almost of trading as it is not "fun".....but it is amazing what I am finding out and how much it is accelerating my consciousness in trading! Here I thought sometimes I didn't know what I was exactly doing wrong (except the obvious buying too high type idea) and now I am finding out alot of the "exact" problems and the most surprising? finding out I also know the answers in many ways too.... I think I am on the brink of a big discovery which will suit my nature very much. It is good to know your nature I think by the way. My nature is to want: something as elementary as simple as possible--as simple as possible! to have it very very high probability. to have a few tools in the toolbox---like when it is an s&p gap down day--well, that is the screwdriver trading opportunity--where I take and buy in the first 5 min the stock I know well and is down a nice amount of points to make it worth the feeling of diving into some cold water and assuming i will come back up to the surface before I run out of air......:)))) and SirRealist what in particular do you mean by "rusty"? We each have our own rusty's but what is yours? Am interested in knowing.... Autumn
