PC Quote did not provide it either but BMI did, and still does I suppose. If I had to hazard a guess I would think that either QCharts buys the data from an intermediary like PC Quote and the data has been stripped or they strip it for reasons of speed. I don't know enough about computer programming to speculate why. Perhaps the data is treated universally for the Futures contracts by QCharts. In other words, because they know they aren't getting Volume for the SPxx they treat the ES the same way for convenience.
