it is an interesting study in human nature that so many people, once in a stock at a loss, hang in and hope and pray to "get out even"

which all too often is exactly the wrong approach

if a stock that has fallen heavily can turn back up, then hit a level where a significant % of people bought, and then can absorb the "break-even" selling, it may well keep on going up, even to new highs

that is the time to buy, not sell
