Jim I assume your $40 comment was meant tongue in cheek you range listings at the bottom of your post seem right on to me my post was looking at the bear case scenario, not the "most likely" but, I've been around the market long enough to have seen more than one time that seemingly insane lower levels were hit and exceeded on the downside just like the have done on the upside that is where the old saw: "Fear and Greed" comes into play my #4 account is like an old hungry vulture sitting on a telephone pole next to the highway it stays in cash for days, weeks, and months on end then once or twice every year or two it is rewarded with a meal when a semi and a juicy tender lamb meet in the middle of the yellow line once invested that account just hangs out and digests the meal till the next blowoff top is reached then it's cash and wait time again #4 is dull and boring, but gives a nice offset to watching every damn tick for what is now 12 hours a day
