If Gore is lying he should be called on it. It's not "stooping down" to point out the truth. This taboo we have against using the "L" word, as so many in media call it is dangerous. When a pol lies, to say he lied shouldn't be out of bounds.

Tombet, GW Bush does have solid background for the presidency ranging from his experiences with his father-president to 5 years as governor of Texas. I find most of his stances on issues unpalatable; but, he does have strengths. Bradley has taken admirable positions, from my point of view on the important issues (universal health, budget, minorities in our society, social security, place of the military in our society). I'm not a "bleeding heart" liberal. I believe in individual accountability for individual actions. As a former Marine, I believe in a strong military. And, I believe that their are some areas where big government is needed because the private sector has too many self-interests to serve the people. It's about people in our country.
