WT has every right to post his opinions on ROSS and I appreciate his point of view. I think we probably own 4-5 of the same enterprise stocks. some other very interesting enterprise software stocks that were very depressed late in 1999 but have rallied are MANU, JDEC, PSFT, INFM, IMIC, ALTS, IFMX.

MANU is my personal favorite, having rallied from single digits to the mid-40's and showing signs that it will give ITWO a real run for its money.

As for ROSS, can't disagree with WT's comments. ROSS has never been able to bring its generally good top line results down to the bottom. but i see it differently than WT. as a manager in this space, i think Vohs has made the right choice in spending to expand their customer base and i'm still confident this investment will pay off. they have a lot of business in europe and i think that will improve. we also know the company is for sale and, with their excellent process mfg. products, they should get bought out at a decent multiple of their top line...something like $6.

WTSherman,

Care to re-read your response to my first post again?
--------------------------------------------------------
"??? You mean those pennies they "made" earlier in '99??? Take a look at the five year results for ROSS, the revenue trend, free cash flow and P/L and you might get a better picture. What amazes me about ROSS is that the same management team that produced this record is largely still in place!!

I assume that means one of two things:

1)They know they couldn't get a decent job anywhere else and are going to hang on until the bitter end...

2)They think they're doing just ducky, Vohs is pulling down $.5M a year and he's not a greedy guy, why leave???

There is good news, though. We finally have a distributor in Scotland!!!!! Yipee!!! That aught to mean that we've turned the corner at last. Now, if we could only fill those holes in Lapland, Mongolia, East Timor and Belize this baby will become a rocket!!"

-------------------------------------------

Now tell me how your sarcasm can be taken with high regard. From someone who has been on this thread for several years and supposedly is the 'guru' of ROSS, I'd say that was quite unprofessional. Nice warm welcome you have to new investors.

Good luck in your "investment".
