I tried to talk the wife into going to Reno.
No dice. She wants to go to Vegas someday and if we don't
go broke in the market next week we may go to Vegas in a
couple of weeks.

Trading: as you may or may not know I do not trade by charts. To be honest I have never been a big believer in the chart system. TLC tried to get me to learn charts a year or so ago. I think it is time I learned some charts and maybe did some of my trading by them.

I have done a lot of reading this weekend all over the internet about the market. I think I am the last bull left on planet earth I keep reminding my self of last October and Nov. It was the same thing everyone was screaming SELL SELL SELL THE MARKET IS CRASHING!!!!!!! I also keep remembering how I kicked myself for not buying during those big dips.
In my limited opinion...the financial situation of the world is probably better than it has ever been in the history of man kind. Seems like every week we have some numbers coming out that the market looks at. If just one of those numbers are the least bit negative then there goes the bears screaming their doom and gloom. (CNBCis famous for this) Seems like they totaly disregard all the good numbers that come out and only concentrate on the numbers that were just a little on the negative side. Of course this causes an over all bearish signal to investors in the market.

Final note: I may be crazy but...I freed (is that a word;-))
up some cash on Friday and I plan on buying on all dips this week. I am open to any suggestions on good stocks to buy on dips. Here are a few I will add on dips.
TXN> (I have my limit but if it hits 98 I will add more)
ADI> earnings are due on Feb.16 and they have already said that their next two quarters will be good. Besides I like ADI for long term.
LU>I have some LU already and believe it or not it has looked pretty good the past several days. To me it is giving an indication of a stock that has hit bottom.
NT>I am still studying NT. I am not smart enough to figure out where the bottom is but I know I like the company and I want back in it.
