Great story, Jarhead. Lu isn't the best candidate for a quick flip (COMS might fit that pretty nicely today) but I'm with you on LU for the lT portfolio.

Every company worth anything has made some mistakes. If they haven't yet they will; which could be more worrisome. This can be a blessing in disguise if management recognizes their error and acts swiftly. Often results in a better operation than the prior one, IMO. Key will be what action management takes to get back in the groove, and hopefully an even faster groove than before. I think McGinn and company can, and will, do it.

congratulations on your long time horizon -- a welcome rarity here on SI sometimes. I, too, bought LU on the dip for long-term, though in my case retirement is more like 5 than 20 years away. But I do think it's solid for long-term growth, and I don't even try to time the last dime out of my buys.
