" Wal-Mart, Kmart, Others Create Jungle for Amazon "

Amazon.com's days as king of the electronic commerce jungle could be numbered, some analysts say. Web-only
retailers such as Amazon and Etoys Inc. will get trampled when brick-and-mortar retail giants such as Wal-Mart
Stores Inc. and Best Buy Co gear up to sell their products online, say such analysts.

"The sticks and bricks guys are going to demolish web retailers," said Charles Kaplan, President of Equity
Analytics Inc., a Long Island, N.Y.-based consulting firm. "Did you really think a company like Wal-Mart was
going to sit around and lose market share to companies like Amazon and Etoys?"
