In reference to your questions about the "From the Analyst" commentary, with all of the short term indicators now negative, you need to take a closer look at your positions. This is where relative strength can become very important along with paring back positions, especially for the longer term investor. One option is to keep a core position and then trade around it. For instance, you could keep a half position of GE because the relative strength chart remains strong. Look to add the other half back on once the indicators are back in our favor. Do what is sensible. A short term traders may go to very high cash levels and that would be a sensible for the mover and groover.
