hey ch,

a couple of thoughts...

perhaps there's a pagis readme file that will hold the answer. look under start, program, canon creative (or whatever your canon group is called) and look for any related pagis programs. look for readme files.

another thought. are you using norton's cleansweep uninstall wizard? and you can't find it there? did you click on the + sign to the left of programs in uninstall? then on the + sign to left of whatever canon entry is there?

also, did ya try windows add/remove?

i'm thinking you may have to just uninstall all canon software and start over.

btw, i was installing canon multipass software on a friend's new dell not too long ago. everything imaginable was going wrong. one snafu after another. and i was following tested and true installation procedures. still couldn't get a seamless install. then i tried one thing that made it all work great. i had been shutting down all background applications (except explorer and systray) as the install wizard urges you to. so i said, what do i have to lose? and i left everything running. didn't shut down a darn thing. and the install worked!

guess that's what i enjoy so much about computers.

let me know what happens.

:)
