Dan, Has Leavitt made any public statements regarding the proposal? The smell is still that this has all been preagreed between the big boys and it's likely to happen whether we like it or not. Again the part I really have a problem with is that it damages liquidity. IOW if you're planning some investment but maintain good risk management, you could easily sell a number of stocks the same day you buy them during any given week just to cut your losses. This allow our friends to squeeze blood out of morning gaps just to screw those afraid of being branded. BTW I still submit that regardless of the language, new opportunities will come from their stupidity. It always does. Alan
