IBD shows many, many funds buying JDSU. The problem with mutual funds is that they show purchases as of the latest reporting quarter only. In Friday's IBD, the American Century holdings are listed as of 6/30/99. They could have bought last spring, sold at a 500% profit and be out of the stock by now (Let's hope they did - and now see the error of their ways). Getting up to date info from mutual funds, even ones you own, is harder than getting an unescorted tour inside Fort Knox. Baton
