CALP, one to watch this week. CALP opened was 52.9 on 12/27, the day it was posted on our very first watch list for the biotech sector, it closed at 125 on 1/28/00 and I still like it. Since that day we posted our second biotech list as the first one rose significantly. It was also on the regular watch list. The entire biotech sector was called on 12/25 and it was a welcome change of pace from the Hi flying internet sector at 1/5 the prices. HLTH trading at 39 when the list came out just one month ago was trading as high as 75 on Friday. GLGC on that list was trading at a the very affordable price of 24 and traded as high as 71 1/2 on Friday. EMIS traded at 26.7 was up to 40 on Friday 1/28/00.. GZTC traded at 12 was up to 18 7/8 on Friday. All the plays were called over and over again since 12/27.. January was a great month to be overloaded in the biotech sector.
