Did you open a MLDirect account or are you using the MLDirect interface to access your MLUA account? The research access via MLDirect is much better. Isn't it amazing how much research Merrill keeps away from its retail clients? Bob, I still have the MLUA account but have been using the MLDirect site. The research is far superior. Currently, Morgan Stanley's online system is more capable than Merrill's. It does options, afterhours trading, and offers IPO access to > $100K accounts. Mkerrill still does not have the options online but I believe they are coming. The IPO chances I suspect are the same.
