I wish I could find my old posts because in early 1997 when the USD Index broke out strongly above 89 (XAU was 120ish), I stated the XAU could not rally as long as the dollar remained strong. Sure the XAU has had some nice tries at the 85-90 area, but nothing that held resulting in these repeated dips down to 60ish. VERY nice for trading, lousy for investing.

Gold thread. If you wanted to add more gold with profits form other sectors, would you...
-buy physical.
-buy shares
-buy XAU.
-wait a bit longer.
-stay away.
-look at silver, platinum etc
-go to bed.
