Dennis, the far right will remain a lunatic fringe as long as the economy chugs along. but in the event of a severe economic crisis, it will become dangerous. one of the side-effects of the aftermath of a global stock market crash (if it happens) will be a renaissance of radical political ideas...left and right of the spectrum, just as the disinflation boom has led to the political mainstream converging around the basic concepts of liberal capitalism.
