Listen, I have some tapes I made during the 1987 crash and Sue Herrera was looking very wholesome and healthy, and I like to see her all fixed up 13 years later. It is amazing that 13 years on the financial networks (and some probably high-paid cosmetologists and hair-dressers) can make her look more glamorous than ever, but I have never objected to a lady looking her best.

I am afraid that some of the standby personages on Wall Street Week need major makeovers.

I guess it's because I know that no amount of cosmetic improvement could do a damn thing for me that I enjoy what it can do for some others. The trouble comes when you kiss a really fixed up lady and get a mouth full of talcum powder.
