Bob, You make a valid argument about the size of an account. So, if what you say is true, the rule essentially will have little or no impact on reducing failures by small traders. You sound like a bright guy, but probably not much brighter than at least SOME of the NYSE/NASD folks who the wrote the rule. We have to presume that some of the NYSE/NASD folks have figured this out. So if the rule will NOT achieve its implied goals, why is it being proposed? What is the real purpose of the rule?
