There are many people in this world, all with different skills and abilities. I consider Norris an exceptional inventor, perhaps even ahead of his time (which is one reason why I believe EDIG/Norris Com was not successful in the past). I also believe (perception only, as I have never met the man) that Norris may not have the commercial savvy necessary to bring exceptional technology to market (not that he is bad at it, just needs to suround himself with good people).

Now we have Fred Falk, and I believe he has the commercial savvy EDIG needs NOW. They NOW have the technology and the market is just about ready (waiting on SDMI).

The real music will continue to run throught the big labels. This is where access to the best recording technology, best recording engineers and best mastering house is available. Sure, there are lots of project and home studios out there, some even pretty good, and MP3 will continue as a result. However, MP3 will become the minor league (and a source to find new talent) as the truly great musical talents will be rewarded with the best recording capabilities and promotion afforded only through/by the labels.

I believe EDIG is propoerly positioned to take advantage of the downloadable (is that a word?) digital market - among others.

Just MHO of course.

Now, off to Germany for a week. Bet the shorts that when I return, EDIG is higher than it is now.

Regards to all,
Brew

Mr. Mehr: Why would someone who claims to only invest in "the best stocks" even CARE about EDIG or what happens to its investors? And please, don't give us the ol' "helping those less informed than you" line. I find your concern disingenuous and totally self-serving.

Those of us in a long mode see differently from yourself. While you seem stuck in the past (although you have not stated the EDIG/Norris past incorrectly) we see the future. Please leave us to our disillusions and return to your safe, "best" stocks.

Thanks for your input. RK

Humble Carl--Really?

I've done a lot of things in my life but music has always been a big part of it. Not all musician-types make a lot of dough. So my ace in the hole for income, in order to live a musicians' type existence, has always been transcription, a service I've provided for a variety major media networks, law firms, medical institutions and academic and business interests. I've also been paid by newspapers for my writing. So I know what I'm writing about, right now, in this post.

With respect to transcription, Sony blew every competing company out of the water. It was hard for any dictation/transcription companies to garner marketshare from Sony. And Norris, when it was Norris, was no different. So that's why it was hard for Norris to make a profit in that particular field of business. I don't care how long you and Woody Norris have not gotten along, nothing in your personal relationship dimishes this clear fact.

Secondly, having worked in news rooms and knowing a bit about the pen and keyboard, I assure you the writing in the U-T article contained a definite slant. Not well-balanced at all. The writer erred more for what he didn't include, rather than for what he did include. I've written Mr. Kupper, expressing my opinion.

I know from experience that it's hard to impress everyone. But I do know, based on my own research, that eDigital has impressed Intel, IBM, Lucent, Texas Instruments, Lanier and others.

In the timeframe of your own personal criticisms of Mr. Norris, were the companies named above impressed by eDigital at the time? Or is it they are now impressed only because eDigital recognized that in order to survive it had to change its focus of business, and thus went into research and development which attracted the attention of bluechips.

It seems, Humble Carl, that your eyes are glued to the past and aren't even squinting toward eDigital's future. In fact, it appears that prejudice has locked them shut. Perhaps you too are an example as to why we awoke this morning only to discover a lousy Sunday feature in the San Diego paper.

It sure seems like there's a bunch of you in San Diego who simply don't like Woody Norris. Well, please take your prejudice away from my investment. I've invested into eDigital's future, not your personal problems of the past.

CARL, YOU ARE RIGHT MISREAD WHAT YOU SAID - but since all of the companies have R+D companies it was too soon - they are now becoming marketing and sales driven companies - besides at this time relationships leading to contracts then revenues are much more important then net profits - SDR
