I am not in a position to criticize anyone, but it seems to me that the telecom world is small, and everyone at the top knows what everyone else in the business is doing. There should be no surprises. So I don't understand how this happened. It's clear that bandwidth is King, the more the better, it doesn't take a genius to figure this out. Lucent has the resources to do OC-192, what's the big deal here. The fact that Lucent can do all these things and do them first and better than everyone else (at least on paper) is why I have sunk a lot of bucks into this company. Maybe the boys at the top don't feel enough pressure, they're not hungry enough. Well, they better wise up. It's a fast moving world out there and it's easy to get left behind. JBK
