wi-LAN: Mobile Wireless Broadband

StockHawk,

I appreciate you taking the time to respond, and I must admit I am impressed by your elephantine memory.

A couple obvious rejoinders to your post: Although I have not heard of ART, we must remember that what makes wi-LAN's W-OFDM so revolutionary is its mobile abilities (its last public test was with a car at 70 mph), while the article you post refers to fixed wireless.

As well, the article does not mention how exactly their technology works. Many people believe that the V-OFDM technology which does offer high speeds is inherently flawed and may impinge on wi-LAN's patents. As well, V-OFDM does not support mobile uses.

I hope this was of some use!
