CE runs on StrongARM.

Intel's focus on the StrongARM has been more for the SOC market. I think Transmeta is giving Intel true incentives to push its super fast StrongARM, which runs up to 800MHz.

StrongARM helps the wireless industry in general, not just CE. Palm devices from Sony and Apple will most likely have very powerful processors. I think they will use ARM processors most likely.

As lkj pointed out CE does run on StrongArm... The real win for Intel however is the IXA from which the IXP comes. The IXP uses StrongArm as the core. I would expect Intel to bring to market an entire IXP product family (akin to the Pentium for the PC market). We'll have to wait and see...

Hmmm, interesting day...

Anyone have a clue who the major shareholder was that registered 4M shares for sale? I was satisfied the way we held this morning when the NAS was selling off, but I expected a stronger rally when the market came back. Anyone have any thoughts?
