Today wasn't work.. Its work at night but you get so familiar with the stocks that its a pleasure in the morning when they move the way you expect. Its also a lot of fun especially after the first 3 years when you more or less know you are a 'trading surviver' and there are really not that many surprises around the bend.. with two corrections behind me.. One really bad one in October 1998 which sobered up my overconfidence and another net one last April which I missed by a hair's length holding 1,200 shares of NTBK for over 240k.. that could easily have been wiped away. A lucky escape from a warning just a day before the 'final downfall'.. of the stock and the sector. The S&P were down about 18 that day and NTBK was actually up. I sold it all knowing I lucked out. The next day... was doomsday.

These latest corrections are just 'buying opportunities'... The lastest error: getting involved with a high profile stock: QCOM too soon will also be corrected. The nasdaq was up 70 points that day and QCOM was up 10 so I impulsively held on to a small call position that cost me nonetheless.
