I noticed your posts on "Montana, Lott share glory with DeBartolo". They certainly all earned that glory. I spent a dozen years in Pittsburgh through the 4 super Bowl years and Joe and Eddie earned a special place in the hearts of all Pittsburghers before we let them escape to the Bay area.

On rings:

Saw some clips of Dan Marino yesterday. Pittsburgh Central Catholic & the Pitt Panthers memories for me. He may never wear a ring, but very special guy.

They didn't do it in a manner that will distinguish them over time.

I'm not comparing the organizations, and not disagreeing with you. I'm just still amazed, after watching YEARS of such futility, that the Rams won the Super Bowl! (and they do have the distinction of winning the best Super Bowl ever).
