Subject Marks???....How's that for not knowing either....??

And on top of that, I'm still wanting to know why one needs such high power firms like GS, etc....when they go IPO... look at CHTR...I really don't understand this either... So any light any of you can share will be very welcome....

Service mark, like TM is trademark. I'm not sure but I think it is the first step in getting a TM.

It's relatively new, but you see them a lot now.
