From the tape: no ads by Dell

**OT**
And the stupidist ad, and biggest mistake by a company with no business yet, trying to appeal to angels and venture capitalists and Wall Street: ourbeginning.com that sells wedding invitations and business cards and other printed stuff. Anyway, the ad shows a few women in wedding dresses going back to the brick & mortar invitation printer. Apparently these women know eachother, and received eachother's invitations, so they know that what they thought was a unique choice of many, others chose, too, and from a limited selection (a false premise even from the invitation books I've seen). Problem: invitations go out 6-8-10 weeks before.

So why are they complaining at the store on their wedding day, with the grooms just outside the store? As if on their wedding day they would still be upset.

It could be as good a short as ivillage.com. Lots of women like to be targeted so inet wannabees can make money from their clicks and purchases. Zero value added IMO. Looks like a lark for the co-founder and CEO whose wife is a co-founder and had an invitation and stationery business.
