It's not going to happen. US would pressure Taiwan into accepting whatever terms are necessary to please China.

if the US delivers missile defense systems to Taiwan...because if that ever happens, one can kiss his QCOM investment and any tech investment goodbye. Actually, with the recently published results by the Pentagon of its Star Wars' inspired ABM test (one complete miss/one hit because the missile followed the dummy balloon deployed), China should HOPE the US delivers these missiles to Taiwan.
